Ingredients
2cupsof passion fruit pulp
3/4cupof honey
Instructions
Begin by scooping out the pulp from your passion fruits until you have about 2 cups worth. This will likely require around 12-15 passion fruits, depending on their size.
Add the passion fruit pulp to a medium-sized saucepan.
Pour in the honey, using a spatula to scrape out any that sticks to the measuring cup.
Place the saucepan on the stove over medium heat.
Allow the mixture to cook for about 15-20 minutes. Make sure to stir it occasionally to prevent it from sticking to the bottom of the pan.
You'll know the jam is ready when it has thickened to your liking. It should coat the back of a spoon and hold its shape when you run your finger through it.
Once the jam has reached the desired consistency, remove the saucepan from the heat.
Allow the jam to cool completely. As it cools, it will continue to thicken.
Once cooled, transfer the jam to a clean jar or container. Make sure to seal it tightly before storing it in the refrigerator.
Enjoy your homemade passion fruit jam on toast, yogurt, or any other dish that could use a touch of tropical sweetness!
